According to the new report, WhatsApp for Android is going to receive a new emoji style for the section of its status updates. This new style will only be available in WhatsApp beta 2.19.110, the development is ‘disabled by default’ and is not functional for beta users.

This new change has been spotted just after WhatsApp introduced an anticipated stickers feature. That feature is available for Android, iPhone, and the Web. Earlier this week, WhatsApp for Android was spotted testing the ability to block screenshots.

WhatsApp for Android is Getting New Emoji Style for Status Updates

WABetaInfo has reported that WhatsApp beta version 2.19.110 for Android users will get a new emoji style via doodle picker. With this new change, the existing emojis will be replaced by the WhatsApp-native emojis. It is important to mention here that the new emoji style will only be available for status updates and you won’t find any changes to your regular conversations.

Furthermore, back in October, WhatsApp was rumored to work on a new feature known as “Vacation Mode”. It was reported that it would help users with more control over archiving a conversation. However, the “Vacation Mode” feature is still in the testing phase and yet to arrived, but recently, again it has been spotted in testing in the latest Android beta build of WhatsApp with the name ‘Ignore archived chats’.
