WhatsApp dark mode coming soon
WhatsApp Dark Mode is one of the most anticipated features which users are looking forward to use and while this new WhatsApp feature is expected to help the platform in its bid of making the user experience better, a new report has suggested that WhatsApp Dark Mode will reportedly be launched soon for both Android and iOS users.
According to WABetaInfo, which keeps a close eye on all the upcoming as well as new WhatsApp features, has tweeted that the WhatsApp Dark Mode feature is currently under works but there is no word on the availability of this new feature. On the other hand, platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram are also offering their users such a feature.
Also, companies such as OnePlus and Google have been promoting the Dark Mode feature as it saves power consumption in the smartphone while also being easy on eyes when needed. For the unknown, OnePlus was the first smartphone manufacturer to introduce the Dark Mode feature in a device’s interface, itself.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp previews update is available for users on Android beta version 2.18.366. While the feature is likely to to be rolled out to the stable version soon, it uses the native sharing feature of Android OS. The new WhatsApp feature is essentially based on how the platform was previewing the text or media any user forwarded to multiple users. A user will see the text in a simple form or a link preview if he or she is forwarding a URL from YouTube, Twitter, Facebook or such platforms.
