The Upper Grand District School Board has launched an exciting upgrade to its mobile app that allows parents/guardians to stay connected to their child’s school.

UGConnect is the newest version of the UGDSB’s parent communication app, which launched in the 2017-18 school year. It’s a one-stop resource for parents to find important information about their child’s school and the school board.

UGConnect has a number of handy features, including up-to-date information about school news, event calendars, and school closures. Push notifications will alert parents to new information in real time.

Parents can access and manage their SchoolCashOnline account through the app in a fully secure environment. UGConnect also ensures that board-wide news and your school’s social media accounts are right at your fingertips.

Parents who had previously downloaded the Upper Grand DSB app are not required to re-download the app to take advantage of the new features, the app should update automatically.
